Real World Epoxies manufactures high-performance industrial epoxy flooring systems for factories, warehouses, workshops, processing
facilities and other demanding environments across Australia.
Industrial floors can be exposed to heavy traffic, machinery, impact, moisture, chemicals and regular cleaning. The right epoxy flooring system helps protect the concrete underneath while providing a hard-wearing surface that suits the way the facility is actually used.
Our industrial flooring range includes Resin Guard™, Resin Grip™ and Resin Rock™, with options for smooth finishes, long-lasting slip resistance and heavier-duty areas exposed to wear, heat and impact.
All Real World Epoxies industrial flooring systems use solvent-free coating technology and are backed by more than 20 years of experience in resin flooring.
Discuss Your Industrial Flooring Project
Industrial flooring requirements can vary considerably from one facility to another. Traffic levels, chemical exposure, moisture,
temperature, cleaning practices and slip risks all need to be considered before choosing a system. Real World Epoxies systems can be used
across a wide range of industrial environments, including:
Forklifts, pallet jacks, equipment and constant foot traffic can quickly wear an unprotected concrete floor. Industrial epoxy flooring provides a hard-wearing surface that protects the concrete and makes the area easier to clean and maintain.
Manufacturing floors may need to cope with machinery, oils, chemicals, impact and regular traffic. The flooring system can be selected to suit the conditions in different production, storage and access areas.
Workshop floors are regularly exposed to vehicles, tools, spills and dropped equipment. A suitable industrial epoxy system can protect the concrete while creating a brighter, cleaner and more practical workspace.
Mining environments can place particularly heavy demands on flooring. Wear, impact, chemicals and harsh service conditions may require thicker, more robust systems and careful consideration of surface preparation.
Seamless industrial flooring can make cleaning easier in processing areas, while textured finishes can provide additional grip where water, oils or other contaminants may be present.
Chemical exposure requires careful system selection. The type of chemical, concentration, temperature and likely exposure time should all be considered when specifying an industrial epoxy floor.
Areas regularly exposed to water require flooring that protects the concrete while taking account of drainage, cleaning and slip resistance.
Vehicle movements, turning traffic and loading operations can create significant wear. Industrial flooring systems can provide added protection in high-use areas and allow slip resistance to be incorporated where required.
Temperature and operating conditions need to be considered when choosing and scheduling the flooring system, particularly where shutdown times are limited.
Our industrial flooring products are solvent free, avoiding the strong solvent odours and flammability issues associated with many traditional coating products.
Our industrial epoxy flooring systems are formulated for environments where floors may be exposed to moisture, chemicals, wear and impact.
Industrial flooring projects can involve much more than applying a coating. Damaged concrete may need to be repaired or rebuilt, drainage may need to be considered and some areas may require chemical containment, coving, line marking or additional slip resistance.
Real World Epoxies has more than two decades of experience supplying epoxy products and systems for industrial flooring projects.
Real World Epoxies resins are manufactured in Queensland, Australia under ISO 9001 Quality Assurance.
Our team works with installers, facility managers, builders and specifiers to help select suitable products and systems for the conditions involved.
Real World Epoxies offers three industrial flooring systems designed for different environments and performance requirements.
Resin Guard™ creates a smooth, solid-colour epoxy finish that seals and protects concrete while helping brighten the workspace.
It is a practical option where a smooth, easy-to-clean surface is preferred and additional texture is not required.
Best suited to:
Key benefits:
Resin Grip™ provides a solid-colour industrial finish with long-lasting non-slip properties.
It is designed for areas where maintaining grip is an important part of the flooring specification, particularly where floors may become wet or contaminated during normal operation.
Best suited to:
Key benefits:
Resin Rock™ is a high-build, non-slip industrial flooring system for areas exposed to heavier wear, heat and impact.
It is designed for more demanding applications where a heavier-duty flooring system is required.
Best suited to:
Key benefits:

Not sure which system is right for your facility? Our team can help assess the service conditions and point you towards the most suitable
flooring system.
There is no single industrial floor that is right for every facility. The best system depends on what the floor needs to deal with every day. Before specifying a system, consider the following.
A warehouse used by forklifts throughout the day has very different requirements from a plant room with occasional foot traffic. Vehicle movements, equipment and abrasive debris can all influence the level of wear.
If the floor will be exposed to chemicals, it is important to understand exactly what those chemicals are, their concentration and temperature, and how long they may remain on the floor. Chemical resistance should be checked against the relevant product technical information before a system is specified.
A smooth floor may be easier to clean, but areas exposed to water, oils or other contaminants may require additional texture. The right balance between cleanability and slip resistance will depend on how the space is used.
Workshops, manufacturing plants and other industrial areas may be exposed to dropped tools, equipment or materials. Where impact is likely to be significant, a heavier-duty system may be required.
The condition of the existing concrete has a major influence on the finished floor. Cracks, contamination, moisture, uneven areas and damaged concrete need to be identified before coating begins.
Industrial flooring often needs to be installed around production schedules. Cure times, access requirements and the time available before the area returns to service should form part of the planning process.
Good industrial flooring starts with understanding the environment before choosing the coating.
Consider:
For aggressive environments, product selection should be based on the complete service conditions rather than one property alone. Technical Data Sheets, Safety Data Sheets and other specification information are available through the individual system and product pages.
